AP Racing - Super 600 Brake Fluid
AP Racing Brake Fluids have been developed specifically for use under the arduous conditions encountered at the highest levels of motorsport. All AP Racing Brake Fluids are compatible with all hydraulic brake systems designed to conform to S.A.E. J1703 requirements.
While Super 600 has a dry boiling point a few points lower than AP PRF 660, it still provides class-leading performance at a competitive price. Unlike some competing products, AP doesn't inflate their test data, and the product performs at the temperatures advertised. As with PRF, you'll see AP Super 600 in the pits at just about any auto or motorcycle racing event around the world.
When switching your fluid to AP Racing Super 600, we recommend purging all of the old fluid from the system via a manual bleed. Most of our customers find that three bottles of fluid is enough to completely replace their existing brake fluid, and have enough left over for a bleed at the track to remove any remaining air bubbles.
AP Super 600 Fluid has been developed for racing applications where higher than normal temperatures are being experienced, e.g. when using carbon/carbon discs and the ultimate in brake fluid performance is required. It should be noted that before using Super 600 fluid, any existing brake fluid should be drained completely from the brake system. The system should be thoroughly purged with new AP Super 600 brake fluid and can then be filled completely with Super 600 fluid.
