    EAS would like to share a special day with our blog readers. Remember Laguna Seca Blue, inspired by the well-known Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca? Laguna Seca Blue (LSB) is a historic and very important color to BMW. In racing history, BMW Motorsports won their second win at this race track. Debuting on the E46, the color hasn’t been seen around too much on the newer models, mainly because to get your car painted in LSB a hefty price would have to be paid through the BMW Individual Program.   10. BMW Z8

    The E52 BMW Z8 roadster (1999-2003) is quite the rare sight, being sold in low volume from 2000-2006. The all-aluminum chassis and body housing a 4.9L 32-valve V8 was priced fairly high at a stunning $128,000. Sharing the power plant of the E39 M5, the S62 motor was capable of 400hp and 370 lb-ft of torque. BMW strategically placed the engine behind the front axle in order to achieve a 50/50 weight distribution. The Z8 was a production variant of the 1997 Z07 concept car; the resemblance can be seen quite easily.
