Our E92 M3 project is now a host to the new ESS Tuning G1 Intercooled Supercharger System! Prior the the install of the supercharger, the only mechanical modification done to the S65 of our M3 were Macht Schnell Bypass Track Pipes and a Macht Schnell Stage 2 Intake Charge Kit. Bolting on the G1 supercharger with the 96.5mm pulley had our M3 go from 377 WHP/279 WTQ to a whopping 548 WHP/366 WTQ! Dyno sheets are near the bottom of the of this post.

Here is the first A90 Toyota Supra to visit our shop! It stopped by to get tested on our Dynojet. Below, you can see a baseline dyno comparison between the Supra and the G29 Z4. Both cars were tested with CA 91 octane fuel, measured at the wheels. While both are powered by the B58, the Z4 has 48 wheel horsepower over the Supra! From what we know, the two cars have different manifolds and turbos. With a lot of hype surrounding the Supra, we're expecting to see more than a few stop by eas to get upgrades. We hope to learn more about the differences between the Supra and Z4 as well.

After a brief absence on the market, the Z4 is back! This Frozen Grey Z4 M40i stopped by to get some numbers on our dyno. As usual, BMW understated the car's advertised power output (382 HP at the crankshaft) as this stock Z4's B58 generated an impressive 381 horsepower at the wheels! We are definitely looking forward to seeing how much power bolt-ons and a proper tune will yield on this hot roadster. We also hope to see its fixed-roof Japanese cousin stop by in the near future...

The standard M2 is already a great performance car. But when one throws in the S55 from the F8x M3/M4, the result is the fire-breathing M2 Competition. After putting one on our dyno, we found out that the M2C is about ~20whp shy of M3/M4 numbers, likely through factory de-tuning. We'll see what numbers we can reach once tuned as well as compare other M2Cs as they come through the doors. This particular M2C also received an alcantara-wrapped BMW M Performance Steering Wheel.

The S55 engine is a highly capable motor in the newer M3 and M4. Being taken to the track fairly often, the owner of this Mineral White F82 was seeking more performance to decrease lap times. When preparing a car for the track, safety should come before anything. In the event of an accident the driver must be in as good preparation as possible. Following behind safety is usability and functionality. Although price tags can be rather high, the money spent on performance aftermarket components is well worth it as most high end manufacturers goals are to exceed and outperform original manufacturer components.
