1. New ESS VT2-525 Supercharger for Z4M

The VT2-525 supercharger system is the latest kit released by ESS for the E85/6 Z4M platforms. With a 162whp and 80 ft-lb TQ gain after installation, this kit certainly isn't for the faint of heart! The ESS VT2-525 differs from it's VT1-445 predecessor with it's Air/Air intercooler system, keeping intake charge temperatures nice and cool. This is especially helpful for extended 20+ minute sessions. An upgraded Setrab oil cooler replaced the OEM unit with heavy duty brackets to keep everything in place as if it were offered by factory.

Big injectors are included, the fueling alone is rated up to 475whp. With a jump in boost from 5psi to 7psi, the S54 transforms into a beast after installation. A huge air/air intercooler fits cleanly behind the factory bumper cover - giving a tease of what's underneath the hood. Rotomolded intake tract rivals the factory pieces. Heavy duty hardware shows the kit is extremely well engineered. New billet crank and water pump pulleys are included.

ESS knocked it out of the park wit this kit. Those in the SoCal area, feel free to drop by and see the Z4M in person.

  2. Arqray Titanium Exhaust Installed on our Z4M

Our project Z4M is a track machine featuring a list of modifications such as a VF supercharger, Work wheels, AST coilovers, Recaro racing seats and an APR carbon fiber wing. With all of these mods, it was finally time to replace the stock exhaust. Our choice was to install the full titanium exhaust made by Japanese manufacturer Arqray. The new sound is loud and aggressive, which perfectly matches the theme of the car. As an added benefit the titanium mufflers and x-pipe weigh exactly half as much as the OEM system, saving 30lbs!

  3. Z4M on AST Coilovers & M3 Fitment Work Wheels

Our project Z4M is a dual purpose car: it's both a daily driver and a weekend warrior. Lowered on a set of AST 4200 Monotube Coilovers, which are comprised of the AST struts, Swift springs and Vorshlag camber plates, this E86 is stiff enough for the track but usable for the streets. For even better handling, we installed some lightweight M3 fitment (18"x9.5" +25mm front, 18"x10.5" +22mm rear) Work Emotion 11R-FT Wheels wrapped with Falken Azenis RT-615K tires (265/35/18 front, 275/35/18 rear). To keep the driver from sliding around during hard cornering, the stock seats have been replaced with a pair of cloth Recaro Pole Position seats mounted on Macht Schnell Competition Liteweight Floor Mounts. With the handling of the car dialed in it was finally time to add some power; stay tuned to see this car get a dose of forced induction!

  4. Work Emotion 11R-FT Wheels on Alpine White M3

We had the opportunity to mount these Work Emotion 11R-FT wheels on our Alpine White M3, so of course a quick photo shoot was in order. The first thing that we all noticed about this wheel was it's flawless matte silver finish. Not only is this finish very unique, but it does an excellent job of accenting all of the precision angles and bends of this wheel. The matte finish is soft and smooth to the touch and diffuses light differently from every angle. The sharp raised lettering along the rim only adds to the overall level of detail and craftsmanship found through out the wheel.

Although these wheels are only 18" in diameter, the combination of the tall Hankook RS-3 tires, the low offset fitments and aggressive widths create a stunning look . As an added bonus, our AP Racing big brake kit had no problems fitting behind this 18" set-up, making this set-up a perfect choice for track days.
