  2. Torque 88 Silverstone Metallic E92 M3

Jam packed with many features, this Silverstone Metallic E92 M3 loves to hit the track. Typically, sitting on two different sets of wheels don’t give the best appearance, however this car can certainly pull it off with its TE37 SL wheels in the rear and Apex EC7 wheels in the front. Running a square setup of 285/30ZR18 with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tires front and back, this E92 without a doubt grips the road. Aiding in that grip is the APR Racing Front Lip Spoiler, rear diffuser, and the rear wing, when it’s on that is. On the trunk there are carbon fiber rear spoiler rail mounts that allow the wing to be taken on and off for before, during, and after the track day.

  3. Alpine White F30 with Aero Package

It isn't often that we see a four door car rolling down the street with a menacing front splitter and tall standing rear spoiler, with a terrifying exhaust note. Well this F30 328i certainly doesn't go by unnoticed. Looking closer and closer to each detail of this car we begin to see the owners' preference of carbon fiber. Not only adding good looks, but also some aerodynamic function, are the carbon fiber APR Racing Front Splitter and Rear Wing. One of the most noticeable parts are the glistening carbon fiber kidney grilles. Sitting on a set of Dolphin Grey Avant Garde M510 Wheels, this 328i shows off its red M Performance brake calipers while giving an almost wheel-less appearance when on the move.

  4. For the Track and the Street

Racing is a luxury that many BMW enthusiasts enjoy. The E92 M3 is no doubt a capable track car in its stock form, however the owner of this one wanted to be able to push his car even more. Equipped with an ESS Supercharger, this M3 can power out of any corner. To further decrease lap times, this M3 needed to get some more grip. TE37 wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 R tires, Takata Racing Seats and Harnesses, and Pedal Haus Aluminum Pedals were the go to options for shedding some weight, increasing grip and safety, as well as adding to the black on orange color scheme. Immediately noticeable, the aerodynamic package by CRZY Engineering and APR Performance adds both function and aggressive styling to this M3. For increased safety, this M3 has also been equipped with roll cage.

For the owner, not being able to race 24/7 is a slight disappointment however, still being a street legal car, street driveability was crucial. The M Performance Steering Wheel wrapped in alcantara once again aides in increased hand grip and control on the track, but also provides the driver with the comfort and control of any other BMW steering wheel.

  5. M3 Built for the Race Track

We've seen this wild M3 at our shop a few times, but we finally had the chance to snap some photos during its most recent visit. Built primarily for the race track, this E92 features some top-quality performance parts, which include an Akrapovic GT4 titanium exhaust, forged Volk TE37 wheels, JRZ RS Pro coilovers, Brembo GT brakes and a full set of carbon fiber aero. Like most track cars this M3 is fitted with a pair of fixed-back race seats, a roll cage and a rear seat delete. In an attempt to shed ever more weight and add additional cooling, we swapped out the OEM aluminum hood for an ultra-light Seibon carbon fiber vented hood. While this M3 may look a bit too extreme for a lot of people's taste, it must be an absolute dream to thrash on a race track. Enjoy!

  8. EAS Project Z4M Update

Our project Z4M got its latest round of mods just in time for Bimmerfest this year. Following its recent 525hp ESS supercharger installation, we installed a black StopTech big brake kit in the front and rear, satin black 19" Rays 57 Motorsport wheels and APR Performance's newest carbon fiber front wind splitter. This E86 M car is really coming together; very few other BMWs that we've had the opportunity of driving provide a similar level of feedback, handling and fun all in one package. While this Z4M is built primarily with weekend trackdays in mind, it's so fun to drive that it commutes to the eas office everyday. Enjoy.

  9. Our Project M3 gets the ESS VT2-625 Supercharger

The ESS VT2-625 Supercharger replaces the previous VF620 system for 2013. With all the ESS systems we've been installing in the past 8 months, we needed to have one of our own to put to the test. With a heavy track schedule planned for this year, we should be made aware of what this kit is made of.

  10. New ESS VT2-525 Supercharger for Z4M

The VT2-525 supercharger system is the latest kit released by ESS for the E85/6 Z4M platforms. With a 162whp and 80 ft-lb TQ gain after installation, this kit certainly isn't for the faint of heart! The ESS VT2-525 differs from it's VT1-445 predecessor with it's Air/Air intercooler system, keeping intake charge temperatures nice and cool. This is especially helpful for extended 20+ minute sessions. An upgraded Setrab oil cooler replaced the OEM unit with heavy duty brackets to keep everything in place as if it were offered by factory.

Big injectors are included, the fueling alone is rated up to 475whp. With a jump in boost from 5psi to 7psi, the S54 transforms into a beast after installation. A huge air/air intercooler fits cleanly behind the factory bumper cover - giving a tease of what's underneath the hood. Rotomolded intake tract rivals the factory pieces. Heavy duty hardware shows the kit is extremely well engineered. New billet crank and water pump pulleys are included.

ESS knocked it out of the park wit this kit. Those in the SoCal area, feel free to drop by and see the Z4M in person.
