  3. The Donington Special

BMW has been known to give some of their cars and/or paint jobs special names, specifically after racetracks or events. For example, Laguna Seca Blue, Lime Rock Park, Dakar Yellow, Estoril Blue, Le Mans Blue, Imola Red, Montreal Blue, Valencia Orange, and Yas Marina Blue. There are many more BMW colors and editions that are named after where automotive history takes place but come the X5M and we get introduced to the stunning Donington Grey Metallic. Named after the Donington Park Circuit in Castle Donington, England the X5M clearly packs the same blood as its other M brothers.

  4. Space Grey E92 M3 - The Weekend Racer

When tracking a car there are many components that can determine your lap time. Maximizing speeds in the corners, having the power to get up to speed on a straight, and most importantly, braking for corners, other drivers, or in emergency situations are some of the biggest factors. Since the owner of this M3 loves to take it out on the track, a brake upgrade was necessary. Equipped with an AP Racing brake system, this M3 doesn’t have to worry about brake fade or not being able to stop. Size matters when on the track because of the heat that is disbursed throughout the rotors when applying the brakes. Comparing the AP Racing BBK (Big Brake Kit) to the OEM equipment, the AP Racing BBK front calipers contain 6 pistons and slotted rotors versus the single piston and solid rotor from the factory.

To lose some weight and also increase grip the owner decided on Apex ARC 8 Wheels and Nitto NT01 Tires 275/35/ZR18 Front and Rear. Increasing performance slightly with its AFE Carbon Intake and Vorsteiner Type 1 Exhaust, this M3 for sure gives a good yet responsive exhaust note. Entering the car, the driver is immediately reminded that they are in an M Performance vehicle because of the M Performance Steering Wheel and stitching on the handbrake.

  5. M Performance Brakes Installed on a 435i Gran Coupe

Black and red is a color combo that will probably never go out of style. This Black Sapphire 435i, fitted with custom red BMW roundels and red interior interior stitching, came to us to add a four more red accents to the exterior. For some additional stopping power and fantastic looks we installed the Brembo made M Performance brake upgrade kit, which features drilled & slotted rotors along with the very same calipers found on the F8X M3 & M4. Showcasing these new brakes are a set of 19" Forgestar F14 flow formed wheels in a beautiful matte bronze finish. Several other M Performance goodies can be found throughout this Gran Coupe, including the exhaust, suspension, kidney grilles, interior trim and the gear selector. The end result is a sleek and sporty F36 that is sure to attract some attention. Enjoy.

  7. Stealthy 335i Sedan Sleeper

The owner of this triple black 335i wanted to extract additional power from his N54, but also wanted to maintain its stealthy appearance. To do this, we first installed the popular Burger Motorsport JB4 tuner in conjunction with a set of thermal coated Macht Schnell catless downpipes; together, they add substantial horsepower and decrease turbo lag. Concerned about heat build-up, we then installed the larger Evolution Racewerks intercooler and the twin oil cooler upgrade, both of which were black anodized for additional cooling and a hidden appearance. Having already been fitted with a set of Performance Friction brakes, this Black Sapphire E90 is more than ready to handle its new power. Enjoy.

  8. M3 Built for the Race Track

We've seen this wild M3 at our shop a few times, but we finally had the chance to snap some photos during its most recent visit. Built primarily for the race track, this E92 features some top-quality performance parts, which include an Akrapovic GT4 titanium exhaust, forged Volk TE37 wheels, JRZ RS Pro coilovers, Brembo GT brakes and a full set of carbon fiber aero. Like most track cars this M3 is fitted with a pair of fixed-back race seats, a roll cage and a rear seat delete. In an attempt to shed ever more weight and add additional cooling, we swapped out the OEM aluminum hood for an ultra-light Seibon carbon fiber vented hood. While this M3 may look a bit too extreme for a lot of people's taste, it must be an absolute dream to thrash on a race track. Enjoy!

  9. Lowered M4 on 359 GTS Wheels

This customer wasted no time in modifying their new Alpine White F82 M4. Right off the bat, the 437 M wheels were replaced with the E9X M3's 359 GTS wheels, along with a set of 10mm Macht Schnell spacers in the front. Behind the matte black wheels, the factory's blue brake calipers were swapped out for identical red ones. H&R Sport lowering springs got rid of the unsightly wheel gap and stiffened up the car's handling performance. Under the hood we removed the stock paper air filters and installed a pair of BMC high performance air filters, which are good for a bit of extra horsepower. Inside, the high-tech Awron DGA gauge displays several pages of real time data while seamlessly blending with the OEM interior. And, as is the case with pretty much every other F8X we've seen so far, this M4's exterior has been streamlined with iND's kidney grille surrounds, side markers and front reflectors. Enjoy.

  10. Alpine White F10 550i M-Sport

Just because it isn't an M car, doesn't mean this 550i isn't ready to perform. Equipped with a 445hp turbo V8 this F10 has the right amount of power, but it needed a few modifications to be ready for the track. Replacing the stock suspension is the KW V3 coilover system, which gives the car its adjustable ride height and its increased handling performance. Super-strong forged HRE P40L monobloc wheels give this F10 a sporty and elegant style while also shedding some weight. In the front, a Brembo GT big brake kit helps repeatedly slow this 550i without brake fade.
