The R101 LW is specifically designed for individual vehicle models creating the ultimate in lightweight optimization for street and track use. Every vehicle model has a different load rating and power output, so HRE utilized this data to redesign the R101 for each model application fine-tuning each detail of the wheel to remove weight and add stiffness where possible. The aesthetics and performance of these lightweight wheels are taken even further with the KW Dynamic Dampening Control Coilover System . Carbon fiber bits from AutoTecknic and RKP complement the San Marino Blue body color rather nicely as well!

    VTT "Spline Lock" CrankHub Solution & Crank Bolt Capture For BMW N54/N55/S55

    We are happy to announce that VTT is offering the only complete S55 crank hub solution that does NOT require the crank to be drilled for pins. VTT's uses their proprietary "SplineLock" technology that uses high tolerance machined splines which press into the crank, and positively lock the hub to the crank to prevent slippage. The splines are machined in such a way that rotational forces drive the hub, and splines deeper into the crank meaning when the hub encounters a situation that would normally slip a stock hub the splined hub is driven into the crank to keep it in place (much like a splined extractor). VTT has spent many months testing, and retesting this design, utilizing well over 10 different samples to come to their final production version.

    This Fire Orange regular came back for some more! Keeping in line with the OEM M Performance theme, the owner opted for additional factory upgrades--namely the M Performance exhaust system and the 763M wheels. These were certainly good choices as they made this orange beast look and sound even more mean. The black finish of the 763Ms goes well with the various carbon trim front to back and top to bottom on this car. The M Performance exhaust not only sounds great but also offers great weight savings, as the stock ZCP exhaust is still relatively heavy! All in all, this car is shaping up to be one of the best builds we've worked on. We can't wait to see what else is in store!

    2018 Fire Orange F80 M3 ZCP, Part 2 - BMW M Performance Carbon Fiber Splitters

    The last time this Fire Orange car was here it received a set of Macht Schnell Wheel Spacers. It has gone through a few more changes since then, chiefly carbon fiber aero trim from BMW M Performance. OEM always tends to fit these cars the best so we couldn't fault the owner for being a bit of a purist! M Performance's carbon fiber trunk spoiler, mirror caps and rear diffuser added some aggressive accents to this fiery sedan. But besides the blacked out kidney grilles, the front end was still looking tame compared to the considerably more aggressive rear. That's where we came in by installing carbon fiber upper and lower splitters, also from M Performance. These splitters look so right and are so popular with our customers that it's becoming very rare to NOT see them on an F8x car! With the exterior now very much on point, the owner expressed some interest in getting a louder exhaust which definitely sets the stage for this Fire Orange beast's next eas visit...

    It's always a treat to receive a customer with an Individual car. More often than not, the Individual car is in a hue we seldom see. The F80 M3 can be a relatively unassuming car when finished in a white, black or gray but when its finished in Fire Orange, it's anything but! This Fire Orange II F80 M3 ZCP is fresh off the showroom floor and was in need of some personalization. The owner decided to draw first blood with Macht Schnell Competition Spacers, with 15mm spacers up front and 12mm in the rear. Combined with the stock ZCP suspension, the spacers did quite a bit to upgrade this M3's aesthetics!

    Another Bootmod3 OBD2-flashed car is in the 700 Horsepower Club! This M3 was custom-tuned on our in-house Dynojet with Cary Jordan's E85 Bootmod3 flash tune. The Pure Stage 2 turbos really flexed their muscles while laying down fantastic numbers. The drastic gains with E85 make stock runs are barely visible on the chart. Peak power was 722 whp @ 675 wtq, showing a whopping 283 whp gain over stock! Torque was dialed back slightly as clutch slippage was present at wide-open throttle. This is one M3 that is very civil for a night out on the town with all hell breaking loose when the pedal is mashed to the floor.
