    2005 Carbon Black E46 M3 - KW V3 & Sparco SPX

Upgrading your car's seats and suspension system are some of the most worthwhile modifications you can make. While a upgrade such as coilovers can dramatically change the way the car handles and feels on the road, in many ways, swapping out the seat is an even bigger change. Along with the steering wheel, pedals, and shift knob, the seat is a major touch point; one of the main ways (if not the main way) the driver interacts with a car. Most factory seats are a one-size-fits-all sort of deal and do not do the best job in keeping the driver in place during sportier driving. A good aftermarket seat with more aggressive bolstering would do better in keeping the driver in place under high performance driving, comfortably. The Sparco SPX is a good example of said type of seat.

  8. Battleship Gray F10 M5 on the Dyno

In order to be different from the rest, this M5 features a unique exterior that certainly turns a lot of heads. Rather than keeping the OEM finish, the owner had his F10 wrapped in Battleship Gray vinyl and replaced the chrome accessories with IND black painted pieces. A Vorsteiner carbon fiber front lip was also painted black to match the rest of the exterior. Adding a healthy dose of color and contrast are bright red ADV.1 forged wheels, which sit in front of custom painted Brembo brakes. For its lowered stance, KW V3 coilovers have been installed and dialed in for an aggressive drop. This M5 isn't all about looks, though. Under the hood you'll find a set of AMS catless downpipes mated to a Meisterschaft exhaust system; a BMS Stage 1 tuner ties everything together and really brings this S63Tu engine to life. With dyno results showing 617 HP and 564 LB-FT TQ at the wheels, this is definitely not an M5 to be toyed with.

Taking care of necessities, we first installed a set of KW V3 coilovers to drop this sedan to it's intended ride height. To make the most of the massive NA V8 under the hood, we installed an Eisenmann race exhaust system to further enhance growl of this torquey beast. Finally, replacing the stock trunk spoiler with the much more aggressive Arkym version boosted the aggressive appearance of this dark, clean AMG.
