    2002 Laguna Seca Blue E46 M3 - AST 5100 Coilovers & Titan 7 T-R10s

This old blue warrior was in need of some big performance upgrades! The old and tired factory suspension was replaced with AST 5100 Series Coilovers. The 5100 Series shock absorbers utilise inverted / upside down technology. The inverted design is race proven technology and produces an extremely strong damper, providing better suspension geometry under heavy lateral and braking loads as seen in a road and track environment.

  3. Laguna Seca Blue F80 M3s

EAS would like to share a special day with our blog readers. Remember Laguna Seca Blue, inspired by the well-known Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca? Laguna Seca Blue (LSB) is a historic and very important color to BMW. In racing history, BMW Motorsports won their second win at this race track. Debuting on the E46, the color hasn’t been seen around too much on the newer models, mainly because to get your car painted in LSB a hefty price would have to be paid through the BMW Individual Program. How often does one get to lay eyes on a LSB F80 M3? Better yet, how often does one get to see two LSB F80 M3s together at one time? Witness the beauty below:

  4. The Return of Laguna Seca

Made popular by the E46 M3, Laguna Seca Blue is a rare and quite unique paint color. The F80 M3 and F82 M4 have made Yas Marina Blue a popular color but when you see an F80 M3 in LSB, it reminds you of where the new M3 came from. Lighting drastically affects the color of the paint, during day a magnificent blue coating that is almost like Atlantis Blue but with a less reflective finish, during night the most iconic shade of the specialty blue. Just like the ocean side waters of Laguna Beach but more fittingly the blue Mazda logo for Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, the color is something special.

  5. Laguna Seca Blue E92 M3 Build

This Laguna Seca Blue M3 drove to us all the way from Northern California to get some major modifications. First items on the list for this E92 were the ESS VT2-625 intercooled supercharger system and the Macht Schnell race x-pipe, which rocketed this S65's power output from 347whp/259qtq to a beastly 535whp/359wtq! To slow down from the newly attainable speeds, we installed a StopTech big brake kit behind the 18" Volk Racing TE37SL wheels; 6-piston calipers in the front, 4-piston calipers in the rear. The Mode Carbon GT4 carbon fiber front lip spoiler, Vorsteiner carbon fiber trunk lid and a carbon fiber rear diffuser not only give this E92 an aggressive look, but they'll help add a bit of aerodynamic stability as well. Inside, we swapped the rear seats for a bolt-in roll cage, installed some gauges and a set of Pedal Haus aluminum pedals. Be sure to check out the full list of modifications below to get a complete idea of what this car is capable of on the street. Enjoy!

  6. Laguna Seca Blue Widebody M3 gets an Awron Gauge

As far as M3s go, you can't really be much more modified than this Laguna Seca Blue E92. Featuring modifications like a Liberty Walk widebody kit, a custom LTMW front bumper, an ESS VT1-550 supercharger system, an Akrapovic exhaust, massive Work wheels, a StopTech big brake kit, KW Clubsport coilovers, Recaro seats, a roll cage, aggressive carbon fiber front & rear spoilers and more, this M3 is by definition an absolute head turner. Yesterday we had the opportunity to further modify this M3 by installing Awron's top of the line DGA Kompressor 2 gauge. Able to display real time boost, horsepower, torque, velocity, g-forces, intake temp, exhaust temp, water temp, oil temp, transmission temp, differential temp, air/fuel ratio, acceleration, voltage, fuel pressure and oil pressure, this do-it-all Awron unit was the perfect match for this wild M3. 8. BMW Performance Seats Installed in a Laguna Seca Blue M3

Of all the modifications, perhaps some of the most coveted are the BMW Performance Seats. It isn't difficult to see why; designed and manufactured by Recaro, these reclinable bucket seats offer superior support and styling over the standard seats while weighing in at about 10lbs less. Luxury isn't spared in the slightest. 9. Vorsteiner GTS-V Lip Installed on a LSB M3

The owner of this Laguna Seca Blue E92 loves carbon fiber maybe just a little bit more than the average M3 owner. Up to this point, his collection included BMW Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps, BMW Performance Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler, BMW Performance Carbon Fiber Front Splitters, Challenge Carbon Fiber Door Panels, custom carbon fiber steering wheel and interior trim, Gruppe M Carbon Fiber Ram Air Intake and of course the OEM carbon fiber roof.

The latest addition to this extensive collection is the Vorsteiner GTS-V Carbon Fiber Front Lip Spoiler. Featuring both carbon fiber and kevlar construction, this large piece attaches to the OEM bumper and covers a large section of underbelly of the car. Functional brake inlet openings direct incoming air into the wheel wells to improved brake cooling while adding a bit of aggressive flair to the car. The perfect 1x1 carbon weave is finished with a 5 layer clear automotive lacquer coating for maximum UV protection and a high gloss shine. What's next for this car? No one knows for sure, but we think the matching Vorsteiner GTS-V Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser just might complete this M3.
