Interlagos Blue E46 M3 Competition - Recaro Sportster CS

Seats really do make the car. A high quality reclining seat from a company such as Recaro is oftentimes a major upgrade from your average factory seat with squishy bolsters and a lack of back support. A great example of said seat is Recaro's Sportster CS. The Sportster CS is inspired by motorsport seat design with an integral headrest that features harness pass-throughs and aggressive bolstering. The design is good blend of luxury and sport and would look right in almost all performance cars. Recaro seats not only hug you firmly during high performance driving but they can also keep you nice and comfortable during road trips. Recaro seats are designed to align the spinal cord in its most natural position. The driver's back muscles will actually become more relaxed the longer they sit in the seat.

  4. Torque 88 Silverstone Metallic E92 M3

Jam packed with many features, this Silverstone Metallic E92 M3 loves to hit the track. Typically, sitting on two different sets of wheels don’t give the best appearance, however this car can certainly pull it off with its TE37 SL wheels in the rear and Apex EC7 wheels in the front. Running a square setup of 285/30ZR18 with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tires front and back, this E92 without a doubt grips the road. Aiding in that grip is the APR Racing Front Lip Spoiler, rear diffuser, and the rear wing, when it’s on that is. On the trunk there are carbon fiber rear spoiler rail mounts that allow the wing to be taken on and off for before, during, and after the track day.

  5. Silver Grey Metallic E46 M3 Gets Up To Speed With Recaro

Whether on the street or on the track, every driver wants to be comfortable. Switching out from his OMP racing seats, the owner of this Silver Grey Metallic E46 M3 decided to throw in some Recaro Speed seats. These Recaro seats aren’t the regular Speed seats by any means, featuring Black Avus Bolsters, Black Avus Insert Material, and a Red Recaro Logo and stitching, as well as a cutout in the center of the seat. Why a hole in the seat? Being a track enthusiast, the OMP seats that were previously installed no longer suited the owner’s needs, whereas the newly fitted Recaro seats now allowed for a 5 or 6 point racing harness.

  6. 428i on Volk TE37SL Wheels

This Black Sapphire 428i has it all: looks, speed and handling. The sleek coupe kept its exterior modifications to a minimum, consisting of a front lip, a rear diffuser, gloss black kidney grilles and some painted reflectors. The most noticeable change to the overall look of the car would have to be the Volk Racing TE37SL wheels. Not only do they provide a distinctive style for this BMW, their forged construction makes these wheels renowned for their strength and their incredibly low weight.

And since being light weight is one of the 428i's strengths, this F32 had a pair of Recaro Pole Position racing seats installed to shed a few more pounds. The new seats will come in handy because the suspension has been upgraded to a BC Racing coilover set-up, which allow for a lower center of gravity and firmer spring rates.

Under the hood, the 4-cylinder turbo motor has a few upgrades of its own. A JB4 tune, an Evolution Racewerks downpipe and an AFE intake all work together to unleash this 428i's potential. All in all, this car is undoubtedly a blast to drive, it looks great and it will probably give some 335is a run for their money. Take a look.

  7. Alpine White E30 M3 Build

Having previously worked on his E90 M3 and F06 M6, this devoted M enthusiast returned to our facility with his newly acquired E30 M3. Like most cars that are approaching 30 years old, this 1987 Alpine White M3 was in need of some maintenance and restoration, but we weren't going to stop there. During the time E30 spent with us, we attacked every corner of the car to create a clean, high performance daily driver.

The first order of business for this M3 was improving the S14 motor. A VAC 2.5L stroker kit, carbon fiber intake system, custom stainless steel exhaust  and a custom tune gave this naturally aspirated 4-cylinder some additional power. Next we focused on the suspension, where we installed a new set of coilovers, camber plates, polyurethane bushings and front/rear anti roll bars. Hidden behind the gold HRE 501 Vintage Series 3-piece wheels, a front Brembo big brake kit, rear cross-drilled rotors and stainless steel brake lines provide massive braking performance improvements.

The complete interior along with a pair Recaro Speed seats were stripped and re-upholstered in a beautiful brown leather/suede combo by Top Stitch. A new dash cluster, steering wheel, shift knob, short shift kit and an Awron DGA vent gauge give this E30 the tactile sensation of a brand new car. For the exterior, we installed a carbon fiber front splitter, a carbon fiber rear wing, new HID headlights, matte black kidney grilles and various new trim pieces add the finishing touches to this first generation M3.

While it may not be nearly as fast or high-tech as the other M cars in this owner's collection, this is the M3 that started it all. We're usually working on brand new BMWs day in, day out, so its actually a treat for us to dive into one of these legends. Take a moment to look over these photos and enjoy!

  8. Alpine White E92 M3 on Volk ZE40 Wheels

This is a proper 6SPD M3. Featuring some very high end modifications like a set of KW clubsport coilovers and an Akrapovic GT4 exhaust system, this Alpine White E92 is built with performance in mind. During its most recent visit to our facility, we installed a set of bronze Volk Racing 18" ZE40 wheels wrapped in AD08R tires; a Macht Schnell stud conversion kit paired with some neochrome Project Kics R40 lug nuts gave the finishing touches to these beautiful JDM wheels. The exterior of this coupe has intentionally been kept simple with a Mode Carbon front lip, iND painted reflectors, BMW Edition black chrome trim and carbon fiber mirrors. On the inside, we took out the rear seats, installed a red AE Performance bolt-in roll bar and a pair of Schroth 4-point racing harnesses to compliment the leather Recaro Pole Position racing seats. This daily-driven E92 has maintained a great balance of aggression, performance and comfort. Enjoy!

If you're a hardcore BMW enthusiast, then you have definitely fantasized about moving to Germany, building a super badass M3 race car and then regularly thrashing it on the Nurburgring.
