  1. CAE Ultra Shifter Installed in E46 M3 Race Car

This E46 M3 is no stranger to our shop; we've previously fitted a supercharger system, installed carbon fiber aerodynamic components and a performed a bunch of other work on this extreme track car. During its most recent visit, we had the opportunity to install the awesome CAE Ultra Shifter. Machined entirely from billet aluminum, the CAE Ultra Shifter is designed to deliver super-precise shifts and extremely short throws. The increased height of the unit raises the shift knob to the same level as the steering wheel, which allows for even quicker shift times and compliments the rest of the race-car-like interior.

  2. E46 M3 Track Machine Gets Supercharged

What do you do when you already have a completely stripped down, fully caged, carbon roofed, Lexan windowed, custom built, non street legal track machine? Supercharge it. While this hardcore E46 was at our facility we had the opportunity to install an ESS VT2-550 supercharger system to bump this ultra-light M3's power output from 289whp & 242wtq to a whopping 493whp & 335wtq! To aid this beast in putting down its new power, we installed a BimmerWorld carbon fiber front lip, front race splitter and rear race spoiler for some much needed downforce. Watch the dyno video and be sure to check out all the little details and features of this dedicated track toy. Enjoy.

  3. E46 M3 Build for European Car Magazine

We recently had the opportunity to build this 2003 Silver Gray E46 M3 for a feature in the July 2013 issue of European Car Magazine. We threw all the goodies into this car including an ESS supercharger, Borla exhaust, KW coilovers, Volk TE37 wheels, Performance Friction brakes, Recaro seats and more. Grab a copy of the magazine to get all the details of this M3 build, but for now take a look at these behind the scenes photos.

This Silver Gray M3 is a great example of a clean and classic E46. A complete exhaust system combined with the Dinan engine package gives this car it's speed. An aggressive drop tucks the classic BBS LM wheels into the fender flares for a flush, sporty look. Red Brembo brakes in the front and rear complete the aesthetic. Keep a eye out for this M3 when it hits the local race tracks. Enjoy.

  7. Z3 on KW V2s with Macht Schnell Spacers

When this customer came to us complaining that his Z3 wasn't handling like it used to, we knew what to do. As it turns out to be the case with many older BMWs, this Z3 had blown out shocks and several failed OEM bushings. To remedy the problem, we installed a set of KW Variant 2 (V2) coilovers, Poweflex front control arm bushings, Powerflex rear trailing arm bushings and Rogue Engineering rebuildable rear shock mounts. Once the car was lowered, it was obvious that the wheels needed to be pushed out to the fenders to complete the look. To finish the job we installed 18mm and 10mm Macht Schnell spacer kits. The owner couldn't be happier with the new set-up, saying it handles and rides 100 times better than before.

  8. Red TE37SLs Mounted on Silver Gray E46 M3

Last week we showed you some studio/unboxing photos of David's red TE37SLs. Finally they have been mounted on his M3, so we snapped a few pics in the studio. Obviously red wheels in super aggressive sizes aren't for everyone, but you just can't deny that this car looks cool.

  9. Silver Gray E46 M3 w/ Magnesium Blue Volk TE37SLs

Here's yet another M3 owner that loves to change his wheels on an almost regular basis. This time, for the sake of being truly unique, he opted for the very first set of Magnesium Blue Volk TE37SLs available in a BMW fitment. Already equipped with a VF420 supercharger system, StopTech big brake kit, HKS coilovers and a titanium Dixis exhaust, this E46 M3 is now even better equipped to tear up Streets of Willow during its next upcoming track day.

Of course, the first thing we did when the wheels arrived was take some unboxing photos in the office and put them on the scale; you'll have to scroll down to the bottom to see how light these SLs truly are.

  10. Silver Gray E46 M3 with ADVAN TCIII Wheels

Yesterday was the day that these dark gunmetal ADVAN TCIII wheels were finally mounted on their owners car. As you can see from the pictures, the owner of this M3 absolutely loves his aggressive fitments; it's not every day you see an E46 running an 18"x9.5" et22 in the front with an 18"x10.5" et25 in the rear! Talk about flush. As it is generally the case with gunmetal finish wheels, they pretty much work on any color car; Silver Gray is no exception. They offer just the right amount of contrast while still showing off the details and curves of the wheel.
