To mark the 50th anniversary of BMW M GmbH, the classic BMW Motorsport emblem returns. The BMW logo with the staggered semicircles in blue, violet and red was used for the first time in 1973 on the racing cars of BMW Motorsport GmbH, which had been created the year before.
