Real Performance means designing the best solution possible, without compromise. SUVs and EVs have consistently evolved to be faster and handle better, but they’ve also grown progressively heavier. That calls for a stronger wheel with a higher load-rating to keep up. The VS-5RX utilizes our motorsport-proven technology to provide a true performance upgrade in a remarkably lightweight wheel that’s packed with subtle features that strengthen and support the immense weight and power of modern SUV and EV applications.

- Enduro Line wheels are about 30% stronger than their RS counterparts
- Hub Centric: All VS-5RX wheels are purpose built for select vehicle applications
- Center Caps: All APEX wheels come with our gloss black cap included that is interchangeable with the OE cap. We also offer additional colors for select fitments
- Wheel Hardware: APEX wheels can be used with all OEM mounting hardware, proper aftermarket hardware and most wheel spacers. Wheel locks and stud conversion kits also work perfectly
- TPMS: All APEX wheels accept OEM and aftermarket Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors and standard fit valve stems. If you don’t have sensors, then select from our metal stems available in multiple finishes
- Warranty: All APEX wheels come with a lifetime structural warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, plus a 1 year finish warranty. Exchanges are fast, easy, and hassle-free
10K tons of pressure
Our new forgings weigh as much as 120 pounds before machining. To form such a thick blank we require special equipment capable of 10,000 metric tons of pressure. This extreme pressure increases the strength of the aluminum by eliminating porosity and improving the grain structure.
True motorsport blanks
Many companies use 3rd-party blanks intended for non-motorsport wheels which can severely limit sizes, concavity, spoke design, and critical brake clearance. We designed our very own blank profiles from scratch which gives us total control over the final product, resulting in exceptionally deep spokes and stronger designs.
Lightweight
Often over ~11 lb lighter than many of their OEM counterparts, the VS-5RX’s weight-savings make this wheel a true game changer in the SUV and EV category. Shaving ~45 lbs of unsprung rotational mass off of your SUV or EV vastly improves acceleration, braking, handling and even fuel/charge mileage.
OEM Tire Compatibility
Almost all VS-5RX fitments feature OEM tire compatibility, making it truly a plug-and-play performance upgrade for your SUV or EV that does not require shopping for different tire sizes.
Flush, No Hassle Fitments
The forged VS-5RX was engineered specifically for these fitments, which allowed us to design it from the ground-up to deliver an aggressive look with maximum concavity, have massive brake clearance, and provide a flush fitment without the hassle of modification or spacers.
Stiffer Spokes
Wheel stiffness is a critical performance metric that too often is ignored. The redesigned spokes of the VS-5RX are about 25% stiffer than the Sprint Line version.
Toughest Inner Lip
The VS-5RX utilizes the same inner lip as our Enduro motorsport wheels, putting material and strength where it matters the most.
Reinforced Front Lip
With the same outer lip as our Enduro line, VS-5RX uses extra material in the front lip for improved strength and durability. You can easily spot the beefed up design of an Enduro spec lip vs. the lightweight lip on a Sprint Line wheel.
Built for impact sockets
Track wheels need track tools. Don’t settle for wheels that require undersized tuner lugs or thin walled sockets. All APEX wheels accommodate over-sized race lugs and impact sockets to make swapping wheels lightning fast.
Laser-engraved specs
As track enthusiasts ourselves, we know how frustrating it is to try to locate and decipher wheel specs that have been hastily hammered into the rim or become unreadable over time. With our new Sprint™ wheels, we chose to invest a little extra and laser-engrave the specs on the barrel, in plain sight, making them easy to find and read.
