GTS Performance Tuning Package - BMW F8X M3/M4

The GTS Performance Tuning Package retrofits many of the factory software calibrations from the M4 GTS (track special) and M3/M4 CS into standard F8X cars (M3/M4 base or Competition Pack).

Paired with an exhaust/burble tune, the sound also changes noticeably.

DCT GTS Flash (Transmission)

• Smoother, faster gear changes compared to stock
• Massively reduces the “kangaroo” effect (jerkiness) in low-speed 1st → 2nd transitions
• Sharper engagement in Sport & Sport+ modes
• Launch control feels more consistent
• Extra: Alters exhaust tone slightly (deeper, throatier, especially noticeable on stock cars)

GTS Differential Flash

• Remaps the Active M Differential for quicker and smarter torque distribution
• Better traction when putting power down out of corners
• Improved stability in both straight-line launches and high-speed bends
• Helps reduce understeer in tight turns

GTS MDM (M Dynamic Mode – Traction Control)

• GTS MDM allows more slip angle before intervention (Stock MDM is pretty restrictive & cuts power early)
• Great for spirited driving and controlled drifts. Still saves you if things get out of hand, but in a less intrusive way.

GTS EPS (Electric Power Steering)

• More weight and feedback, especially at higher speeds
• Sharper steering response
• Better stability in wet/hydroplaning conditions
• Feels more “connected” vs. stock’s lighter, softer steering

CS EDC (Suspension – Adaptive Dampers)

• Retunes the Electronic Damper Control to the CS spec (GTS was equipped with factory coilovers)
• Comfort mode becomes genuinely more compliant/usable on daily drives
• Sport & Sport+ stiffen up nicely without being overly harsh
• Improves balance between ride quality and cornering precision

Overall Driving Impact

• More engaging, sharper car without needing mechanical mods
• Transmission feels like a different gearbox (smoother + faster)
• Traction/differential tweaks make the car more predictable and fun on the limit
• Steering + suspension changes bring you closer to how the CS and GTS feel from factory
