The NTR R3 system sets the standard for ultimate performance with a design that offers drivers and engineers unparalleled damping control.

Nitron's NTR R3 features 3-Way independent damping adjustment. By incorporating a class leading large diameter piston and ultra-strong piston rod, the R3 system demonstrates outstanding levels of performance, damping control and adjustment. Piggyback or remotely mounted reservoir allows quick and simple independent adjustment of rebound and fast and slow compression damping. The large range of adjustment and quality of feedback allows the experienced driver to fully exploit the full potential of their car. The R3 is a proven race winner and lap record holder across a wide spectrum of international motorsport formulas.

The high-grade materials protect against corrosion whilst reducing weight. Every R3 kit is custom built, sprung and fully serviceable. Titanium and hard-anodized parts are hand built to last not only the lengthiest endurance races, season after season, but also the harshest of winters.

Bi-Axis Hose Fittings
NTR Hose shocks are fitted with Nitron’'s exclusively developed 720-degree Bi-Axis fittings that allow for simple and precise installation, developed in-house.

Nitron “Fast Road” Spec
A road-biased performance setup with enough capability for occasional track use. Designed for drivers who are primarily on public roads with occasional track use, emphasizing comfort while still being performance-oriented.

Fast Road Core characteristics

  • Driver Profile: 80% street/20% track
  • Softer spring rates
  • Softer damper valving
  • More compliance over bumps/street imperfections
  • Works well at near OEM ride height or mild drop
  • Prioritizes ride quality + usable grip on imperfect roads
  • Intended use: Daily driving/canyon runs or occasional HPDE or track day (few times per year)

Nitron “Track Day” Spec
A track-focused setup that sacrifices comfort for control and performance. More focused on track performance with stiffer springs + valving and lowered ride height. This is where the car starts to feel “on edge” (in a good way on track) but can be harsher on the street.

Track Day Core characteristics

  • Driver Profile: 50%+ track/aggressive street
  • Stiffer spring rates
  • More aggressive damper valving
  • Better body control, braking stability, and transition response
  • Less forgiving on rough roads
  • Intended use: Frequent track days and Aggressive driving/pushing the limit and for drivers prioritizing lap time over comfort

Code Isolator Kit not included (available separately). Vehicles originally equipped with EDC will require Nitron NTR Electronic Damping Delete Kit or have EDC option coded off to prevent errors.

All Nitron shocks are hand-built to order to each individual customer's requirements. Lead times are normally 2-3 weeks, but at certain times may be slightly longer. If you would like a more accurate delivery time please inquire beforehand.
