Originating in the BBS racing wheels used by teams in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this model takes its name from the initials of that elite event.

Over the past 40 years, BBS wheels have won over 250 series Championships, ranging from F1, Touring Cars, Prototypes, Silhouette, Open-wheel, World Rally Championships, Hillclimb and Motorcycles. Since BBS produces OE wheels for many manufacturers including companies like BMW, Ferrari and Porsche, they understand the true performance requirements along with the proper load rating, tolerances and durability specifications.

Forged Line
BBS has been offering forged aluminum wheels in the aftermarket since 1983. Our special multi-stage Die-Forging process help us create the strongest and most durable wheels possible. Starting from a billet of 6000 series or even a special 7000 series Dura aluminum, these aircraft quality alloys are forged with up to 18 million pounds of pressure. Every stage of production is optimized and controlled in-house to help create the best forged wheels in the industry.

BBS Precision Fitment System (PFS)
For many years BBS has been using their “Precision Fitment System” to properly fit the wheel to the center hub of a vehicle. The BBS system uses a fully machined aluminum ring that maintains the correct tolerance between the wheel and the car. The system uses an Aluminum ring and a wire retaining clip. The opening in the wheel that accepts the PFS system is also used to center the spacers used for BMW applications. These are fully machined billet aluminum rings that maintain all of the proper tolerances. While this is compatible for most BMW models, there are a couple of exclusions worth noting:

• All 5x120 fitments (with exception of E39 M5 and E7X X5M/X6M) require 72.6mm BBS PFS Kits BBS.09.31.368
• E39 M5 models require 74.0mm CB requiring BBS PFS Kit BBS.09.30.091 (Front & Rear)
• E7X X5M/X6M require 74.0mm Front & 72.6mm Rear requiring both BBS PFS Kits BBS.09.31.368 & BBS.09.30.091
