Sparco has designed and engineered some of the most advanced Sport Seats in the world. Sparco designed and developed the first-ever adjustable carbon fiber seat for super cars in 1998, for the Lamborghini Diablo. Since then countless super cars such as the Bugatti Veyron and the Lamborghini Aventador have used Sparco design and technology in their vehicles. In addition to sport seats, Sparco also produces carbon fiber parts such as body panels, bumpers, roofs and aerodynamic pieces. Sparco also produces structural carbon fiber parts like stressed member engine cradles and various chassis parts.
PILOT QRT
The Pilot QRT is the largest composite seat on the market. It was designed to accommodate a larger as well as a taller driver. The Pilot QRT is made with all-new QRT Technology which results in an ultra-light shell which is important with such a large seat. The Pilot QRT has integrated head bolsters to protect the head and deep side bolster for maximum lateral containment. This seat can be used with a Hans device for even greater protection. The ultra-light shell is then wrapped in an impact-absorbing and fire retardant fabric that helps hold the body. The Pilot QRT is FIA approved.
Sizing
X-Large – 38” waist (pants size) comfortably / minimum height for this seat is 6'1"
What is QRT?
Designed and developed at the Sparco OEM Composite Laboratory in Italy, QRT is a patented state-of-the-art technical process, based on aerospace technologies.
QRT creates an unparalleled mechanical strength to weight ratio. This innovative production method generates the lightest fiberglass composite seat shells currently on the market; in fact, it guarantees a reduction in total weight of up to 30% compared to traditional production methods. The QRT seats approach the weight of a comparable carbon fiber seat at a lower price point.
