Tesla Model Y - Mountain Pass Performance

This Model Y was in need of a suspension upgrade so it stopped by the shop for our services. Its driver opted for the popular Mountain Pass Performance Comfort Coilovers. MPP has worked tirelessly on the Model Y to achieve ride quality that is as close as possible to what we achieve with the Model 3. Taking full advantage of the twin-valve technology offered by KW, MPP has improved the characteristics of their Comfort line, introduced dampening adjustability, and also gained the corrosion resistance of INOX stainless steel. If you want the absolute best road suspension for the Model Y, look no further. With the ride height lowered, this MY looks even better with the SSR GTX01 wheels.

MPP's Arastradero Rear Camber Arms were installed along with the coilovers.  The Model 3/Y’s OEM suspension does not allow adjustment of rear camber. When you lower or raise your Model 3 or Model Y, the rear suspension will gain or lose negative camber which must be corrected to retain tire life, range and traction. These camber arms correct rear camber change caused by altered ride height, improve steering response and stability. 

Some cosmetic work was also performed. TCorsa Rear Bumper Dynamic Turn Signals were installed for a more sleek, modern look. These turn signal are full LED housings clip into place of OEM reflectors. They also illuminate as running lamps when headlights are on, flash when brakes are applied and function as sequential turn indicators.
