The E39 M5 is a BMW purist's favorite. Offered only with a manual transmission and packing a beefy V8 under the hood, it's a car that's often looked back on fondly. But unlike its lower-trim siblings the E39 M5 was only offered in a sedan configuration. A Touring (station wagon) model wasn't offered so the owner of this car decided to make one himself.

This car started out in life as a 540i and underwent a painstaking conversion process using authentic BMW parts. The conversion included the S62 V8, 6-speed transmission, complete interior and even the M5's trunk floor. Definitely one of the most impressive builds to ever stop by our shop!
