Karbonius - Carbon Fiber Engine Cover - BMW G8X M2/M3/M4
The Karbonius G8X M2/M3/M4 S58 Carbon Fiber Engine Cover is a full replacement for the factory engine cover found on BMW G8X models powered by the S58 engine. Designed and manufactured in Spain, the Karbonius engine cover replaces the molded factory component with a lightweight prepreg carbon fiber assembly developed for precise fitment within the engine bay.
Karbonius manufactures the engine cover from prepreg carbon fiber using controlled production methods developed around structural consistency, surface quality, and resistance to the elevated temperatures found within the engine compartment. The carbon construction provides a substantial visual change while retaining the dimensions, mounting locations, and functionality of the original BMW engine cover.
Rather than adding a carbon overlay to the factory component, the Karbonius engine cover serves as a direct replacement. Its shape follows the S58 engine architecture and surrounding factory components, allowing the cover to integrate cleanly with the G8X engine bay. Installation uses the original mounting locations and requires no permanent modification to the vehicle.
The factory BMW M emblem can also be transferred from the original engine cover, maintaining an OEM-style detail within the exposed carbon fiber construction. The result is a clean engine bay upgrade that complements other Karbonius carbon fiber components available for the G8X platform.
