Our entry-level model for enhanced driving pleasure through attractive and individually adjustable lowering is the KW V1 coilover suspension in the typical KW inox-line. Thanks to its high-quality workmanship, the consistent use of stainless steel struts, corrosion-resistant springs, and perfectly matched components, it guarantees long-lasting driving enjoyment – not just for the life of the car.

Stepless lowering
The KW V1 allows for maximum lowering within the tested adjustment range. This range varies depending on the vehicle model and can, for example, be between 30 and 70 millimeters or 50 and 90 millimeters for individual lowering. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be quickly and easily adjusted even after years of use. The lowering is achieved, depending on the vehicle, either via the wheel-guiding KW stainless steel struts or, in the case of non-wheel-guiding double wishbone rear axles, via the rear axle height adjustment.

The KW V1 features a vehicle-specific, fixed damper setup. The spring and damper are perfectly matched to provide an optimal balance of sportiness and everyday usability.

Continuous lowering
With the KW V1 coilover you can achieve maximum lowering in the tested adjustment range. Depending on vehicle model this varies between 30 to 70mm or 50 to 90mm. Even after years you can adjust the height quickly and easily due to the dirt resistant trapezoid thread and composite collar. Lowering at the front axle is made using our one piece composite height adjuster, on the rear axle this is the same unless the car has a separate spring and shock absorber. The supplied rear height adjuster sits either above or below the rear spring.
