As with all KW coilover suspensions, KW engineers develop the vehicle-specific KW damper tuning, valued by car enthusiasts worldwide, through extensive testing cycles on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in our test center on the KW 7-post driving dynamics test rig. With a KW coilover suspension, you'll experience your car with greater directness and dynamism. With the KW V2, experienced drivers can directly influence handling and comfort through individually adjustable rebound damping. The 16 precise clicks allow you to adjust the KW dampers to be firmer or more comfortable without affecting the compression damping valve.

Depending on the vehicle type, the rebound valves of the KW twin-tube dampers are adjusted at the top of the piston rod using either an integrated adjustment wheel or the included attachable adjustment wheel. By increasing the rebound force via the adjustment wheel, body roll is reduced. This results in improved tracking and greater stability at higher cornering speeds. For example, if you change your vehicle manufacturer's approved wheel/tire combinations to larger rims, the KW V2's adjustable rebound damping allows you to perfectly match your car's handling characteristics to your new alloy wheels.

Finally, under all weather conditions, KW coilover suspension struts are 100% rust-free and have an unlimited lifespan. The stepless lowering mechanism of the KW V2, which uses a dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and a polyamide threaded ring, is also designed for long-term use. No oxidation occurred on the KW coilover suspension struts during a salt spray test. This ensures that the stepless lowering adjustment remains unaffected even after years of use.

The vehicle-specific KW damper tuning, highly regarded by car enthusiasts worldwide, can be further fine-tuned with the KW V2. The rebound damping adjustment allows you to compensate for changes in driving dynamics resulting from switching to a new wheel set or fitting winter tires. TVR-A rebound damping
The two-stage patented "TVR-A" technology enables the low volume flows to flow through an adjustable conical low-speed bypass at slow damper speeds and, at higher piston speeds, the main rebound valve opens for the large volume flows. This results in a significant increase in driving comfort without affecting the high speed in the safety-relevant area. 16 exact clicks are available for the individual setting, so that a decision can be made between more comfort or more body control.

Stepless lowering
The KW V2 Comfort coilovers, made using "inox-line" stainless steel technology, enables a vehicle-specific lowering within the tested adjustment range of 10 to 40 mm. Built with paramount attention to detail and using only the highest quality components, the stainless steel KW V2 Comfort coilover struts are 100 percent corrosion-resistant and have an unlimited lifespan. The dirt resistant trapezoid shaped threads and the adjustable composite spring seat mean that the ability to adjust the ride height of the vehicle will not be affected even after many years of driving allowing you to emphasize the sportiness of your vehicle visually.
