The most important part of a BMW oil change is the oil itself. Just like genuine OEM parts, BMW Motor Oil is produced to meet the manufacturer’s exact standards, ensuring long-term reliability and performance. However, because synthetic oil lasts longer, BMW generally recommends oil changes every 10,000 miles or once per year (whichever comes first), 

For performance-oriented drivers, we recommend changing oil every 5000-7500mi, or annually (whichever comes first). Those running E85/Flexfuel should change oil sooner. 

Oil Services include

  • Complete drain and refill with full Synthetic Oil using fluids that meet LL01 certification from brands such as Genuine BMW, Motul and Liqui Moly
  • OEM Oil Filter (Mann, Mahle or Hengst)
  • New Filter O-Ring and drain plug crush washer
  • Oil Sample collected upon request (Blackstone oil analysis)
  • Oil Service Indicator reset 
  • General Underhood Inspection

What is Synthetic Motor Oil?
BMW Motor Oil is a fully synthetic oil, meaning it’s man-made rather than refined directly from crude oil. BMW engines are designed around synthetic oil because it offers several advantages:

  • Longer life: Synthetic oil resists breakdown better than conventional oil
  • Cold-weather protection: Flows more easily in low temperatures, reducing engine wear during startup
  • Heat resistance: Handles high temperatures without thinning, protecting the engine under stress.

That said, driving habits and conditions can affect oil life Frequent short trips, stop-and-go traffic, or extreme heat/cold may require more frequent changes.
