Limited Slip Differential for BMW 210 rear axles.
Comes standard with a 50/40 setup and 55Nm preload. The carriers also have a possibility for a 60/50 setup. The BMW 210 rear axle is used in the models M5 (E28/E34/E39), M3 (E36 3.2L/E46/E9X) and Z4M (E85/E86). This type is used for final drive ratio’s 3.15 and shorter (5.44). If this LSD replaces the OEM differential, please be aware it is necessary to change the side flanges as well. The E46 needs flanges with a PCD of 94 mm. The E9X M3 needs flanges with a PCD of 102 mm.
BMW Axle Size
As a rule of thumb you can check the number of bolts on the side cover of the casing.
210: 8 Bolts
188: 6 Bolts
168: 4 Bolts
188K/L: No bolts
