G87 M2 M Performance Exhaust System.  US spec.  Complete kit includes silencer system, titanium tailpipe trim module, carbon rear diffuser, and titanium tailpipe trims.

The titanium M Performance silencer system available for the new BMW M2 boasts reduced weight, an unmistakable look and distinct racing-car acoustics. The visual highlight is the centrally positioned quartet of tailpipes made from titanium with a ceramic coating in combination with a specially modified M Performance carbon fiber diffuser.  Its front pipes are made from lightweight stainless steel while the rear silencer has an all-titanium construction. As a result, the silencer system is some eight kilograms lighter than the standard item. The system not only gives the M2 an even more exciting appearance, the optimized exhaust system also produces an even sportier driving experience and – depending on the mode of the electrically controlled flaps – hits a particularly exhilarating note reminiscent of a racing car.

• Sport and Sport+ Mode: Extremely emotional sound, very sporty, maximum performance.
  
• Efficient Mode: more sporty , emotional sound compared to the standard, but with the same level of comfort for uncompromising everyday use.

The optimized exhaust system amplifies the characteristic 6-cylinder twin turbo sound and accentuates the car’s sporty handling. The silencer system is made from a high quality material mix. The front pipes are made from lightweight stainless steel, while the rear silencer is made entirely from titanium.
