The perfect suspension setup for significantly enhanced driving dynamics
If you have already made initial performance modifications to your sporty road car, the KW V3 makes it easy to incorporate these modifications into the damper settings. The patented KW valve technology for separate rebound and compression damping adjustment allows you to customize the vehicle-specific KW baseline setting. For example, the KW bottom valve, adjustable in twelve clicks in the low-speed compression range, gives you the flexibility to even take the tire characteristics of your high- and ultra-high-performance road tires into account when setting up the suspension.

Thanks to the patented compression adjustment at the lower end of the stainless steel housing piston, you don't even need tools for this. The adjustable compression damping with its twelve precise clicks allows you to manually influence body roll and pitch movements without having to change the rebound damping, which is optimally matched to the spring rate.

With the individually adjustable rebound damping of the KW V3, you can directly influence handling and comfort through precise click adjustments. Depending on the vehicle type, the rebound valves of the KW twin-tube dampers are adjusted at the top of the piston rod using either an integrated adjustment wheel or the included attachable adjustment wheel.
By increasing the rebound force via the adjustment wheel, body roll is reduced. This results in improved tracking and greater stability at higher cornering speeds. For example, if you switch from your vehicle manufacturer's approved wheel/tire combinations to larger rims, the KW V3 allows you to perfectly match the driving characteristics of your car and your new alloy wheels.

:Even during production, the KW V3 undergoes extensive quality testing, with each individual damper being inspected. This is the only way we can meet our commitment to providing a warranty of up to five years when a KW V3 coilover suspension is installed by an authorized KW dealer. Thanks to their meticulous craftsmanship and the use of high-quality components, KW stainless steel coilover suspension struts, for example, are 100% rust-free and have an unlimited lifespan. This ensures that the functionality of the stepless lowering system, via the dirt-resistant KW trapezoidal thread and the KW polyamide threaded ring, remains unaffected even after years of use. The individual lowering with its stepless adjustment range allows you to visually emphasize the sporty character of your vehicle – a feature that is very popular in the performance-oriented tuning scene.

The KW V3 is the ideal accessory for performance-oriented drivers and tuning enthusiasts who demand a high level of sportiness from their vehicles. The dampers, which are separately adjustable for rebound and compression damping, allow for extensive damper tuning thanks to their sophisticated click adjustment. TVR-A Technology
The two-stage, patented TVR-A (Twin Valve Rebound - Adjustable) technology enables a small volume of oil to flow through an adjustable, conically shaped, low-speed bypass during low damper speeds, while in the case of higher damper speeds, the main rebound stage valve opens allowing a larger volumn of oil to flow. This provides a big improvement in terms of ride comfort without influencing the safety-relevant high-speed range. There are 16 precise clicks available for individual settings, so you can choose between more comfort or more body control.

TVC-A Technology
With 12 precise clicks, the KW Variant 3 coilovers utilize TVC-A (Twin Valve Compression - Adjustable) technology and can increase or decrease the flow of valve to achieve either more or less low speed compression dampening. During sudden high speed impulses the spring loaded needle valve and the spring loaded main valve open to their maximum valve cross section, acting as a digressive blow-off characteristic to avoid transmitting undesired forces through the suspension into the chassis. This provides a better platform for the vehicle body and at the same time offers more comfort than with conventional valve technology during high wheel acceleration. The dampers come preset to our baseline shock settings right out of the box providing an optimal starting place for your car while providing a wide adjustment window for true performance optimization.

Continuous Ride Height Adjustment
With KW Variant 3 coilovers you can achieve maximum lowering within an approved lowering range that ensures a proper functioning suspension with adequate travel after your car is lowered. Even after years of use you can easily adjust the ride height thanks to the dirt resistant trapezoid thread and composite adjustment collar.
