Nitron - NTR Roadsport Coilover Suspension Kit with Front Axle Lift (FAL) - BMW G87 M2
The elec-TRON RoadSport coilover kit offers many of the same benefits of our R1 kit but is more road orientated, optimizing comfort and daily usability, while integrating with your OEM top mounts.
OEM EDC Integration
For modern vehicles that come equipped with a factory-installed electronic damping system (EDC), Nitron elec-TRON dampers are a direct bolt-in upgrade, seamlessly integrating into your OEM computer, offering advanced damping control over stock. All of the factory features function as intended, just with some trick new hardware underneath the car.
Nitron has embraced the technological age and packed a ton of modern tech into this new range of dampers. It all starts with our very own Proportional Solenoid Valve. Each shock in the elec-TRON system is equipped with its own valve, allowing for precise, controlled adjustments within the damping system. With individual valves, each shock maintains independent damping control, resulting in optimized handling, stability and comfort. Everything is at play when it comes to elec-TRON, as the computer is monitoring g-load, vehicle speed, road condition and driver inputs, and making changes down every six milliseconds. Yes, you read that correctly. To put it in perspective, it takes around 100-150 milliseconds for the human eye to blink.
Front Axle Lift (FAL)
FAL is a hydraulic based system fitted on the front axles and allows ~1" lifting of the vehicle. The hydraulic cylinder unit is located on top of the coilover body between the spring and spring perch. This allows for instant lift (within ~5 seconds) and operates completely independent of the shock/strut resulting in no unwanted additional suspension movement while driving. This allows vehicles with low ground clearance to clear obstacles (including driveways and trailer ramps) easily and can be activated from inside the vehicle via user-mounted switch.
Nitron boasts over a decade of success, celebrating prestigious race wins and lap records around the world. Designed, developed and manufactured in the UK, Nitron’s worldwide headquarters are based in England’s prestigious ‘Motorsport Valley’, Oxfordshire.
