NRW Design - S58 Billet Valve Cover - BMW G8X M2/M3/M4

Another industry first from NRW Design - the S58 billet valve cover, CNC-machined from a single solid block of 6061 aluminum. After more than a year of design, machining, and real-world testing, we’re proud to finally release what we believe is the ultimate solution to the factory S58 plastic valve cover failures.

The OEM plastic valve cover is known to crack and leak over time, leaving owners with only one option: replace it with another plastic cover. NRW Design now offers a permanent, motorsport-grade alternative built to withstand extreme heat, pressure, and power levels.

This billet valve cover is already in use on some of the highest-horsepower S58 cars in the world and has been proven on setups making over 1,600 whp, including Pro Tuning Freaks (bootmod3) shop car, with no crankcase pressure issues and no check engine codes.

Important Design Notes — PCV Delete Configuration

This is not a direct replacement for the factory valve cover. The NRW Design valve cover eliminates the factory PCV system and is designed to operate with an external catch can setup to manage crankcase pressure. Because of this design:

• The factory plastic engine cover cannot be reused
• Crankcase ventilation is handled via dual -10 ORB to AN ports located at the top of the valve cover
• These ports must be routed to a proper catch can system (sold separately)

This configuration is specifically intended for high-performance and high-boost applications, where the factory PCV system becomes a limitation.
