NRW Design - S65 Viton Valve Cover Gasket Set - BMW E9X M3

These are currently available both as part of our complete gasket kit and separately as a pair of valve cover gaskets. Compared to the OEM Buna gaskets used by BMW — as well as aftermarket alternatives like Victor Reinz — these Viton gaskets are a significant upgrade. Viton offers superior resistance to oil and chemicals and holds up far better to repeated heat cycles, making it an ideal material for high-temperature, high-performance applications like the S65.

In fact, BMW has moved to Viton valve cover gaskets on newer M engines, including the F8X M3/M4 and beyond — further validating this as the better long-term sealing solution.
